Whether your idea of a romantic caper includes chandeliers dripping with crystals and sumptuous fabrics draped across windows and bed posts or sleek chic where a bathrobe is the only accessory needed, Paris has a range of lovely accommodations. With so many choices, the following list is neither exhaustive nor categorical. We've chosen eight hotels with a nod not only to star ratings but also service, locale, atmosphere, decor and overall charm.
