"Alchemy is the art that separates what is useful from what is not by transforming it into its ultimate matter and essence."

             --Philippus Aureolis Paracelsus

We all desire to live "the Hero" of our personal life story. We can only do this by unearthing the essence of self, the Soul. Originally an artist, I use astrology to paint the portrait of the personality in all its glorious color. As a tarot reader, I offer insight into the framework of your personal life creation. Life as a masterpiece, must always reveal both the shadow and the light. American suffragist, Elizabeth Stanton Cady said it best, "We come into the world alone, unlike all who have gone before us; we leave it alone under circumstances peculiar to ourselves. No mortal ever has been, no mortal ever will be like the soul just launched on the sea of life.... Nature never repeats herself, and the possibilities of one human soul will never be found in another.... In that solemn solitude of self, that links us with the immeasurable and the eternal, each soul lives alone forever...."

Medieval alchemists sought to turn (or transmute) base lead into something higher, more refined, such as gold or silver. Hermetic and esoteric tradition understood this to symbolize "inner alchemy," the purity of mind, body and spirit. Since the beginning of time, man's essential struggle has always remained the same. The universal laws apply whether poet, pauper or president. Astrology is an alchemical tool by which we can understand the burdens that weigh heavy on our hearts (lead) and allows us to transmute them into opportunities (gold). The mundane and ordinary then becomes extraordinary and the servile, sublime.

The game we call life can be brutal and unrelenting. And yet, it is the beautiful fight we do not wish to lose; the lesson we choose to endure, because most of all--life is magnificently...magical! Certain events are destined to occur, but by and large, we have been given the gift of free will to shape our own destiny. Truth is an island with very few inhabitants and the road less traveled is fraught with challenge, but answers are found by those who dare beg the questions.

The law of Karma is always and ever present.

Destiny awaits...may the Divine be with you.
